After a few wet days we were relieved to have fine weather for our latest Roving Refinery at Foo Asian Street Food on Yates Street.
Co-owner Sterling Grice greeted twelve lucky DRA members at Foo’s outdoor patio. After introductions, we tucked into a generous variety of seven flavourful dishes prepared by Chef Patrick Lynch. The food was served family style and included Green Papaya Salad, Butter Chicken and the day’s special, Ground Pork Curry. Foo also has vegan and vegetarian options, such as this curried tofu dish, which was enjoyed by our group. It was a very nice occasion.
A big thank you to Sterling and Patrick for their hospitality! Guests donated 7.5 lbs of food, and $20 cash for the Food Bank. Congratulations to Matt and Erika for winning the $25 gift certificates.
