Queer Open Stage

  • theDock Centre for Social Impact 100-722 Cormorant St Victoria Canada (map)

Are you an 2SLGBTQIA+ performer? Do you need a safe space to showcase your talent, find community, and network with other queer artists?

Bring your performance to our QUEER OPEN STAGE!!!

Music, drag, poetry, dance, comedy or magic … if you can do it in 10 minutes or less, we want to see it!

Show up at 6:30 pm to sign up, or e-mail queeropenstagevic@gmail.com for early sign-up.

Performances will begin promptly at 6:45 pm.

This event is presented by the Victoria Downtown Residents Association and is hosted by Sara Rose Hébert (they/them), a local queer, neurodivergent singer-songwriter and vocal coach who is passionate about community and accessibility.

NOTE: Allies are welcome as audience members but performance spots are reserved for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.

We also need VOLUNTEERS! Just a little bit of set up, door, and tear down. The more hands we have, the lighter the workload for all of us! Here's a link to sign up: https://victoriadra.getcommunal.com/volunteer-opportunities/1310

This is a free event, however, we will be collecting donations to purchase items for the Lekwungen Community Toolshed, so bring cash if you are able:
