Yates Street Community Garden
Welcome! We are happy to offer a thriving community garden in the heart of Downtown Victoria.
Our Story
The Yates Street Community Garden was established in 2016 and is located at 1014 Yates Street. The garden includes over 90 plots, serving residents, community groups, and non-profits. It’s a vibrant hub for urban gardening, community events, and connection while also supporting local pollinators and acting as a small ecological oasis in the heart of Downtown Victoria!
While we do not currently have needs for volunteers on a regular basis, from time to time one-time volunteer tasks come up. Click on the button below to join the VDRA's volunteer roster and indicate that you are interested in helping out at the garden. We will get in touch by email when we need a hand!
Thank you all for your interest in becoming a member of the Yates Street Community Garden! Unfortunately, the garden is currently full, with all boxes allocated. Check back soon for a link to our new waitlist form.
