Our guest speaker for this year’s AGM will be Mayor Marianne Alto, who will provide an update about the Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan and the actions that the City of Victoria has taken to date. Following a question and answer session with Mayor Alto, the business meeting portion of the AGM will take place. It will include words from our Board President, a summary of what we accomplished in 2025, a review of our 2025 financial report, votes on changes to our constitution, and the election or appointment of directors.

We are seeking to fill five vacancies on our board of directors at the AGM. If you are interested in running for the board, please email Sandra Severs, Board President. You must be a member of the VDRA in order to be nominated for the board, and only members who live within the boundaries of the Downtown neighbourhood are entitled to vote at the AGM. Accessibility details: The workshop will take place at theDock, on the 3rd floor of 722 Cormorant Street. Access to the 3rd floor is by elevator and the theDock has even floor throughout and a wheelchair accessible washroom, which is also gender-inclusive. There is on-street parking available on Cormorant Street, directly in front of the building. Additional parking is available in the Centennial Square Parkade (645 Fisgard Street).
