Karaoke and Crafts

  • Market Square 560 Johnson Street Victoria, BC, V8W 3C6 Canada (map)

Join the VDRA and ASIA in Victoria for another free karaoke and crafts event, this time at Market Square!

Come sing your heart out to your favourite song, make a craft, take part in a Tai Chi lesson, or enjoy some delicious food from Mom’s Kitchen.

Crafts will include Thai fruit carving, origami and Filipino parols (decorative lanterns).

Bring your own reusable dishes and receive a voucher for $5 off your food purchase.

This event will take place on the homelands of the Lekwungen People.

Accessibility details: The crafts and Tai Chi lesson will take place in the courtyard on the lower level of Market Square. The karaoke will take place in an indoor space accessed from the courtyard. There are both stairs and ramps leading to these spaces, including once fairly steep ramp. Unfortunately, the washrooms at Market Square are not wheelchair accessible. If you have questions or concerns about accessibility at the event, please contact us at engage@victoriadra.ca.

We encourage those who are able to walk, cycle or take public transit to the event. The closest bus stops are on the north side of Pandora Avenue between Store Street and Government Street (routes 14, 15, 24 and 25) and on the south side of Johnson Street, east of Wharf Street (routes 10, 24 and 25). There is paid parking in the Market Square parking lot (accessed from Pandora), as well as paid street parking on Pandora and Johnson).
