All-Candidates Forum - Sept. 26

Updated: Sep 28, 2022

Voting is cool. Informed voting is cooler.

Join the Victoria Downtown Residents Association on Monday, September 26th from 7 to 9 pm at The Atrium (800 Yates St.) for a chance to mix and mingle with candidates for Victoria City Council and chat with them about issues related to living Downtown.

Residents and candidates will be invited to rotate though a series of discussion tables, each associated with a specific topic, during this café-style event.

Join the Facebook event to stay up-to-date about the forum.

** Please avoid wearing perfume, cologne or other scented products. **

Accessibility details: The event will take place on the ground floor of The Atrium Building, which is wheelchair accessible. There will be two gender-inclusive washrooms available, including one that is wheelchair accessible. Free bus tickets are available for those who face financial barriers to attending the event.

We encourage those who are able to walk, cycle or take public transit to the debate. The closest bus stops are on Yates between Blanshard and Quadra (about 100 metres east of the Yates St. entrance to The Atrium) and on Johnson just east of Blanshard (around the corner from the Blanshard St. entrance to the building).

There is limited street parking on Yates and paid parking is available in the Johnson Street Parkade at 750 Johnson, west of Blanshard.

Hello

All residents of Victoria are welcome to attend. The topics selected for the discussion tables are those that are deemed to be of most importance to Downtown residents.
